Cardio-Obstetrics: Heart Failure in Pregnancy, Case and Review

Speakers: Dr. Joanna M. Joly (University of Alabama at Birmingham) and Dr. Wynne Crawford (Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates)

We will review two cases of dyspnea in pregnancy, and focus on optimal management of cardiovascular disease across the pregnancy-postpartum continuum. Lastly, we will emphasize red flag signs and symptoms, and explore the utility of biomarkers and benefit of team-based care in this patient population.
